To begin testing on Bond Hive's testnet platform, follow these essential initial steps:

  1. Connect to Testnet: Ensure your wallet is connected to the testnet environment.

  2. Acquire Dummy USDC: Use the faucet feature to mint 100 dummy USDC for testing purposes. As demonstrated in our video guide, you can access the faucet by clicking on "Faucet" at the top left corner of the screen or directly via https://testnet.bondhive.xyz/app/faucet. Simply click on "mint" and approve the transaction in your testnet wallet.

How to Test Investments on Bond Hive Testnet

Once you're set up with dummy USDC, follow these steps to test investment strategies on Bond Hive:

  1. Access the Testnet Platform: Navigate to the testnet version of the Bond Hive application at https://testnet.bondhive.xyz/app. Initiate the investment process by clicking "Invest Now," "Launch dApp," or directly through the provided link.

  2. Sort Investment Strategies: Organize the test investment strategies by their Annual Percentage Yield (APY). Ensure to consider only the maturity terms and the highest APY for clarity in your test investments.

  3. Request a Quote: Select the desired strategy and press the "Invest" button to request a quote based on test market conditions. This process takes approximately 15-18 seconds. Once the quote is prepared, you will receive a prompt to "proceed." Remember, this quote is valid for five minutes in the test environment.

  4. Enter Test Amount: Input your dummy USDC amount. The interface will then display the estimated bonds, estimated redemption amount, and the maturity date using testnet figures.

  5. Complete the Transaction: Click "proceed" and then confirm the transaction through your testnet wallet to finalize the test investment.
